Summer Read Kickoff/Teen Bake-Off

A two-hour teen bake-off! Teens should register before the bake-off and tell the young adult librarian what they are going to make. The night of the event, participants will bring their gourmet baked goods. Each entry will have a card with the name of the dessert in front of it. Three professional chefs from the local Alpharetta area will taste and judge all entries and decide which three are the best. 1st place winner receives $50 gift certificate, 2nd runner-up $30 gift certificate, and 3rd runner-up $20 gift certificate. Gift certificates will come from an area restaurant.
