Fulton County residents can visit the Central Fulton Resource Center on the 4th floor of Central Library downtown. It offers one-on-one assistance with resumes, applying for jobs online, apprenticeship, career guidance, summer youth programs, assistance to TANF recipients, and operates the state Workforce Investment Act (WIA) program. - Employment and training services for unemployed low-income seniors available through Georgia Dept. of Human Resources, Division of Aging Services.
- The Corporation for National and Community Service is the federal agency dedicated to fostering service in communities across the country via its website Serve.gov. This site is a comprehensive clearinghouse of volunteer opportunities and can be used to find opportunities, set goals, and track results. United We Serve is a new initiative with an initial 81 days of service from June 22 to September 11. Be part of it!
